Certified Field Trainer (CFT) Program
The Certified Field Trainer Program is designed to elevate the careers and skills of line-level Team Members. As a CFT, you'll coach and mentor new hires, providing essential knowledge and feedback to ensure their success. Coursework includes learning and mastering effective coaching, mentoring, and training, setting you on a path to becoming a Westgate leader. In addition to enhancing your skillset through education classes, CFTs receive priority consideration for promotions to supervisory roles and earn additional compensation for their training duties. Join the CFT program and make a lasting impression on New Team Members while advancing your career at Westgate!
- Designed to identify line-level Team Members who are interested in taking on additional training responsibilities.
- Prepares line-level Team Members for emerging leadership roles by teaching key skills like coaching, mentoring, facilitation, communication, etc.
- Each location has an allotted number of CFTs based on staffing needs.
- Adds $1.00 per hour of compensation to selected CFTs upon completion of the starting line workshop.
- Includes a 2-day starting workshop, 8 continuing education courses, and a deep dive mentorship program.

Mindful Leader Program
The Mindful Leader Program helps Team Members strengthen their leadership skills through a mix of live virtual sessions, online self-paced modules, and peer discussions. Each course is designed for the busy leader, requiring just 15-60 minutes of daily participation and offering the flexibility to complete activities at work or home. By completing five courses, you'll earn the Certified Mindful Leader certificate, demonstrating your commitment to continuous growth and future leadership opportunities.

Leadership Immersion for Excellence (LIFE) Coming Soon
The Leadership Immersion for Excellence (LIFE) Program gives supervisors and managers the chance to design their own flexible leadership journey. Once accepted, you'll build a personalized schedule of immersive shadowing experiences across multiple departments, participate in leadership training, and take on stretch assignments that prepare you for the next stage of your career. This program is designed to help leaders strengthen skills, expand their network, and gain the confidence to step into higher-level roles.

Leadership in Training
The Leadership in Training (LIT) Program equips current and emerging Westgate leaders with the skills needed to lead teams, drive results, and create exceptional guest and Team Member experiences. Build around Westgate's Leadership Competency Model, LIT combines interactive modules, real-world projects, and cross-functional collaboration to prepare you for the challenges of higher leadership roles.

Engineer's Edge
The Engineer's Edge Program provides Tech I, II, III, Trades, and Projects hourly Team Members with clear pathways to grow their careers in Engineering. This program combines standardized online learning with critical HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance, and Safety training to ensure consistency across the department. By completing courses and demonstrating skills, you'll know exactly what is required to earn promotions and take the next step in your career at Westgate.

Hospitality English Series
The Hospitality English Series equips Westgate Team Members with essential English skills to build confidence in guest interactions, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and strengthen reading and writing abilities. Designed for all levels, this engaging program combines facilitator-led instruction with interactive activities, discussions, and games that make learning practical and fun.
- Includes a pre-assessment, six classes, and post-assessment to measure growth.
- Provides vocabulary, reading, and writing practice tied to real workplace conversations and guest service scenarios.
