Front Desk Agent

Pay Rate: $16.50 / hour. Use our Daily Pay benefit and get access to your pay as you need it.

Effectively check guests into and out of the resort by performing the following duties.

As a Front Desk Agent, you will: 

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
• Issue room key and escort instructions to Bellhop.
• Date stamps, sorts, and racks incoming mail and messages.
• Transmit and receive telephone messages.
• Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
• Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts.
• Compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests.
• Make and confirm reservations.
• Post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone, to ledger.
• Make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservation, and arranges for tours.
• Assist guests with deposit of guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box.
• Nightly bucket checks
• Able to listen and find solutions to guests problems

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred but not required
• Experience handling cash, credit card transactions, or using a point-of-sale system is helpful
• While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and be able to regularly lift, pull, push and or/move up to 10 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to eight (8) hours.
• Comfortable using phones and basic computer systems
• Additional hospitality or customer service training is a plus
