- Lead morning sales meetings, providing motivation, updates, product knowledge, and sales strategy guidance to prepare the team for daily performance expectations.
- Train new hire sales representatives on all components of the Westgate Resorts sales presentation, including scripting, product features, ownership value, objection handling, compliance standards, and closing techniques.
- Conduct one‑on‑one and group training sessions, ensuring new hires fully understand and can effectively execute the Westgate sales process.
- Perform ride‑alongs with sales representatives to observe tour execution, evaluate presentation delivery, and provide real‑time coaching and corrective guidance.
- Interview, assess, and hire new sales representatives, ensuring candidates meet company standards, expectations, and cultural fit.
- Assist in termination decisions when requested, following company protocols and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Provide additional and ongoing training to current sales staff, addressing performance gaps, reinforcing standards, and supporting the continual improvement of the sales team.
- Assess individual and team performance, deliver constructive feedback, and provide tailored coaching plans to help representatives meet and exceed performance expectations.
- Maintain expertise in all Westgate sales tools, presentation materials, incentives, and updates, and ensure the team is trained on new information accurately and promptly.
- Travel to other Westgate properties as needed to conduct training sessions, support new team launches, assist with hiring efforts, or reinforce sales performance standards.
- Collaborate with leadership, including Directors, VPs, and other training staff, to align training strategies with departmental goals and organizational directives.
- Promote a positive, energetic, and professional training environment, encouraging teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Ensure all training and coaching activities follow Westgate’s sales compliance policies, company guidelines, and state licensing requirements.
- Maintain accurate training records, track attendance, and document progression of trainees throughout the onboarding process.
- Support the development of training materials, including presentations, manuals, scripts, and digital resources as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned, supporting departmental initiatives and contributing to the overall success of the sales organization.

- A minimum of two years of proven sales experience, demonstrating consistent top-tier performance and mastery of the full sales presentation.
- Strong proficiency in closing techniques, objection handling, and delivering persuasive resort and ownership presentations.
- Prior experience mentoring, coaching, or training sales representatives is highly preferred.
- Experience presenting to groups, leading discussions, and guiding employees in a structured learning environment.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate sales performance and provide actionable, constructive feedback.
